Behind the scenes
Based in Amsterdam and established in 2012 by brother and sister Koen and Laura Warmerdam, 4530 makes well designed products of high quality. The major difference from other brands is the strong social element: for every product you buy, brand gives a free t-shirt to a Dutch man in need.

Here what the team says:
‘We do this in cooperation with our well known giving partners, who are working for Dutch people in financial need. We have had the opportunity to realize our dream, but many people do not have that privilege. At this moment 1.2 million people in the Netherlands live below the poverty line. That’s a lot! The question is not whether you can contribute, but in what way you can contribute. With ‘Man to man concept’ we share the smiles we receive from a new 4530 product’.
It’s worth to mention that first designs were created with help of founders grandmother, Mrs. Warmerdam, who was a tailor after II World War. The interview with the lovely old lady you can find here.
